The Greater Bedminster Community Partnership is an alliance of local councillors, voluntary and community organisations, private businesses and public agencies within the two Bristol wards of Southville and Bedminster. About 21,000 people live within this area.
The partnership will bring benefit to people living in the area by:
- encouraging greater cooperation and effectiveness between private, public and social economy organisations
- offering increased opportunities for residents to influence the making and implementing of policy
- being inclusive and vigorously opposing discrimination

Who should attend this Awards Panel?
Membership is open to anyone living or working (including volunteering) in Greater Bedminster. Although people who have put bids in are welcome (you won’t be allowed to vote on your bid), we also need a good turnout of ‘uncommitted’ locals. You do not need any special qualifications other than an open mind. You will need to read through the applications, so let me know (in good time) if this poses a problem for you and we’ll see what we can do.
We welcome people who have served on the Awards Panel previously, but we’d also like to see some new faces. Please help out if you can.
Neighbourhood Partnership and Forum Meetings
